Architecture Specification Process
We are big believers in agile methodologies. At the same time, we believe that certain architecturally significant items need to be tackled early in the effort. Our experience has shown us that doing so greatly reduces risks, and increases predictability of the project. Our architecture specification process, which is detailed out in the diagram below, focuses on quickly getting us to a point when “sprinting” can happen, but not before architecturally significant decisions are made to address the significant business goals, KPI targets, systemic qualities, root causes, pain points, and risks.
The Next Path Cube, and Matrix, are central concepts to how we specify an architecture. Click here to learn more.
